I gave facts whereas yours was a cool story without any facts.

SMW was legit in the early 80's ,you can of course PROVE me otherwise.

Well I was actually around then, watching Boxing.

Despite their being fights there it wasn't considered legitimate until around the time Ray Leonard fought Lalonde.

To me all these "jr." divisions are garbage. If GGG was to move up, move up to 175. to hell with 168. Ward and GGG should both move to 175

The original divisions, even to this day, still have way more meaning.

Boxing has gone all to sh|t, fighters trying to suck every last drop of water out of their bodies in order to gain an advantage. Look what Canelo is doing to himself. It would fix itself if they went back to same day weigh ins. GGG, Canelo, and Ward would suddenly be bigger guys. All Lt Heavyweights.

He is small for middleweight. He weighs something like 165 before he cuts, cuts 5 lbs then swells back up to barely above the limit.

A move down to 154 seems more likely than moving up to 168, 175, but money talks.

At his age moving down to 154 would kill him. Chad Dawson Part 2

So was I, AND like I already told you it was legit because of the championship fights taking place there, e.g. Murray Sutherland defeated Ernie Singletary for the IBF SMW championship.

Doesn't sound like you were to me.

That wasn't considered to be legitimate at the time.

I also was around then, and SMW had little to no following.

The point is is that he could move up and fight Ward. Which is a fight I want to see. Do you?
Yes. Everyone wants to see that fight.
It's not going to happen in September

                      Of course.

I want Golovkin to stay at 160 to see if he can get Canelo. If no Canelo, there's notning else for bim at 160.

                      So hopefully 2016.
