Stroll down the first link and you'll see that this dealer has fight footage of Robinson vs. Angott from March of 1946 (which is before Robinson even won the 147 pound title). Stroll down the second link, which is a pdf file obviously, and when you come to page 15 you'll see the very same fight being offered by that dealer.

Even if you disagree with Nat Fleischer's, Ring Magazine's, Daley's, etc. opinions that Robinson was still in his prime when he defended his welterweight title against Fusari in 1950, those two links obviously show that Larry ****ing Merchant is completely wrong in his claims of there being "no footage" of Robinson's prime.

And that fight IS out there, because over the last couple of years I've spoken with a few dealers/fight collectors on the net who described the footage the EXACT same way (long distance camera view, some water damage, silent, etc.).

i.e. Larry Merchant doesn't know what he's talking about.

Fact is Robinson was still good in his 112th fight, but he was not at his best, only ******s will believe that. No boxer will be in his prime after 112 ****ing fights. How many times I have to tell you this & stop spamming this thread with your garbage.

"fact" means "fact"
"your opinion" means "your opinion"

your opinion that robinson was past his prime in 50 after 110 fights does not make it a fact... do you grasp this?

(your opinion also happens to clash with the opinion of people who actually saw robinson fight in the 40s)

You left that "******ed debate" and brought the same friggin topic up here because you can't come up with a single piece of proof, evidence, testimony, or whatever to back up your claim of Robinson being past his best for the Fusari fight at welterweight, and as you do SO frequently, can only come back with the same "you're a ****** if you think he was in his prime after 112 fights" bull**** over and over again...It looks like an act of desperation if you ask me.

Oh, and even though I didn't see your HL video (I probably did though, just not when you posted it because the link didn't work), anybody can tell you that those fight videos of Robinson, with the exception of some brief amateur footage, are taken from fights that were AFTER the fight with Fusari.
