Golovkin seems willing to move to 168 for other people but Ward has to come down to 160?well, why not? when golovkin calls out a fighter in the division below him, he says he will go down and fight him in his own division
anyway, ward's "fans" seem to want this fight more than he does. ward himself seems in no rush to make the fight happen. he even declined it once
Yeah cos HBO are going to "call out" their current Golden BoyComment

i don't even know what you are referring to. i hold all boxers to the same standard, i.e. it's impossible to be accused of ducking a fighter who doesn't fight in your division, and if you want to call out someone in a different division to you, then you better be willing to gain or drop some weight to make the fight happen
golovkin already agreed to fight ward at 168 lbs once, and if the fight happens, that is where it'll take place. i was merely demonstrating that golovkin calling out mayweather and ward calling out golovkin are not equivalent scenarios. if golovkin or golovkin fans called mayweather a coward because he didn't fight golovkin at middleweight, they would be equally out of lineComment

Look dude, no offense but when ****** posters that like GGG call any fighter that doesn't take/make a fight they want a "ducker" etc., etc., you really can't whine when people use those same standards and apply them to GGG when he does it.i don't even know what you are referring to. i hold all boxers to the same standard, i.e. it's impossible to be accused of ducking a fighter who doesn't fight in your division, and if you want to call out someone in a different division to you, then you better be willing to gain or drop some weight to make the fight happen

It should bug you everytime a fan uses a ridiculous term, not just when its a guy you are a fan of.Comment

i'm more concerned with the actions of boxers than of their fans to be quite honest... i've supported mayweather on this site for two years short of a decade so i don't like being addressed as a p*ctardLook dude, no offense but when ****** posters that like GGG call any fighter that doesn't take/make a fight they want a "ducker" etc., etc., you really can't whine when people use those same standards and apply them to GGG when he does it.

Floyd fans don't hate GGG. They get annoyed with he double standards of he, his team and his fans.
While you see some ridiculous comments, most Floyd fans simply take the arguments/criticisms of Floyd from Manny/Wlad/Kov/GGG fans and apply them to GGG. Things like resume, moving up to prove himself, and fighting for pride/glory rather than money, in addition to other things.
When this is done, GGG fans have a fit. Why is that? Why do GGG fans get so upset when their own arguments are used against a fighter they like?Comment

Because he said so? We all know the quotes from his manager from last year when asked about fighting Ward so save me the damage control.golovkin already agreed to fight ward at 168 lbs once, and if the fight happens, that is where it'll take place. i was merely demonstrating that golovkin calling out mayweather and ward calling out golovkin are not equivalent scenarios. if golovkin or golovkin fans called mayweather a coward because he didn't fight golovkin at middleweight, they would be equally out of line
Well it wouldn't be "equally out of line" because Mayweather has already moved up 5 weight classes to Golovkin's zero.Comment
