While you see some ridiculous comments, most Floyd fans simply take the arguments/criticisms of Floyd from Manny/Wlad/Kov/GGG fans and apply them to GGG. Things like resume, moving up to prove himself, and fighting for pride/glory rather than money, in addition to other things.

When this is done, GGG fans have a fit. Why is that? Why do GGG fans get so upset when their own arguments are used against a fighter they like?
If GGG had actually avoided fighting anybody at all by saying they weren't a big enough draw etc, then your argument would be valid. But he hasn't done that, ever.

The reason GGG vs Ward hasn't happened yet is that neither of them want to do it for peanuts and HBO don't want to pay to screen it.

The difference between GGG and Ward is that GGG's team were honest about relaying what HBO had told both men, while Ward just said "Yeah, I'll fight him", then sat back and did nothing in order to give the impression that GGG's money demands were the reason the fight didn't happen.

Ward tells them to stop lying to the fans and Golovkin suddenly gets butthurt and changes his tune "I said yes, you said no"

      Damage control.
on the two occasions that golovkin has directly addressed ward in the media, ward has gone con****uously quiet. he straight up slammed ward just the other week and we haven't heard a peep from ward since. if he's lying, then ward should come out and say so

it should be clear by now that golovkin's priorities are (1) to unify middleweight and (2) to get on pay-per-view. so clearly ward is at the back of the line for now, but that doesn't mean the fight won't happen. if ward wants the fight sooner rather than later, then he should get his sugar daddy promoter to throw some money at k2

Are you sure he didn't reference money as a reason he isn't looking to fight Ward? Please, check again.

I've seen the same reasoning from other posters but there is nothing concrete to support that argument. It could be just as likely that HBO is protecting GGG from losing (which is my opinion) before they can make fights with cotto/canelo.

The point is when some fans of GGG make ******, ******ed arguments, posters like you do not call them out. When those arguments are then applied to GGG, then you speak out and say fans "hate" GGG.

How about you speak out when you see these used on others and not just when they are used on GGG.

Ward already said that Team GGG should stop lying to the fans and that he wasn't even going to talk about them any more because it was pointless.

That's when GGG started mouthing off

Wanting to fight mayweather is all about the payday. I dont know why is it difficult for others to understand that.

If you ask any 160lb fighter out there who they want to fight, mayweather or ward, I'll be surprised if any of them chooses ward.

if ward actually wanted the fight right now, he would be more proactive, it's as simple as that. but he's happy to wait until there's a bigger purse on the table and occupy himself with other things in the meantime. ward, just like golovkin, knows for a fact that hbo aren't willing to pay for the fight yet, so anything he says to the contrary is pure bull****. the only difference between the two camps is that golovkin was honest

Its easy for GGG to scream he wants the fight, when he knows HBO isn't going to meet the financial demands, its also funny that after Ward says he won't address the ggg situation anymore is when ggg speaks out

Sanchez said that GGG/Ward didn't make financial sense. He went on to say that if Ward got back in the ring and raised his profile again, and GGG unified at MW, that would change. So all he was doing was stating the truth about the situation.

I have said many times that that I don't think Ward is ducking GGG or is scared of figting him.

Cotto is different. He is the WBC MW champ and GGG is his mandatory, but Cotto won't fight him. The reason for that, imo, is because Cotto doesn't think he could beat GGG. So that's a duck, plain and simple.

The amount of biased, retarted crap that is currently being posted about GGG by Floyd's fans doesn't make me inclined to bother posting rebuttals of similarly biased anti floyd crap that is posted by fans of Golovkin as a reaction to it.

I used to stay away from Floyd/Manny threads because I couldn't be bothered reading page after page of rubbish like that from both sides.
