It may have been that DM was in the first row and stood up because he was near the ring, making his presence known. About the only time he did this in the US.
I did find an article that shows where DM said he was not going to fight a co-main event or an undercard in the US and would fight only if a title was involved and he clearly stated that he fights for money, point blank.
