Technically true but the ref could and should have stopped it and ruled it as a slip or KD before resuming the fight, he half counted/watched it. He might as well have punched Vera in the back of the head.

Oh yeah. The ref was out of position. Had he been in position, he'd have issued a count before the hook/uppercut landed.

The commentators and pundits were shocked when Smith said it was terrible refereeing. It's like Nelson was never a boxer, he knows nothing.

I'm pretty sure that Johnny Nelson doesn't watch boxing and didn't watch it before or during his career.

It's impossible to watch boxing and be that clueless and make the statments he makes.

He actually said to James Toney's face "you White washed Micheal Nunn" clearly never seen that fight, even Toney was like what the **** is this guy on.
