This thread has become a circlejerk of armchair experts, another by-product of the Fraud Mayweather Jr. hive mind. As far as I'm concerned, none of you misinformed individuals are professional physicians or surgeons, so your opinions are irrelevant.

Here's an "educated" explanation on the recovery process of rotator cuff injuries taken directly from the medical encyclopedia on a government owned website.

Recovery can take 3 to 6 months, depending on the size of the tear and other factors. You may have to wear a sling for 4 to 6 weeks after surgery. Pain is usually managed with medicines.
Rotator cuff repair is surgery to repair a torn tendon in the shoulder. The procedure can be done with a large (open) incision or with shoulder arthroscopy, which uses smaller incisions.
