The thread is littered with mostly Mayweather fans saying that this somehow proves his injury to be fake so I just brought up a similar example. Mayweather claimed the same injury and fought again in the same period of time. Does that mean he was "faking" or exaggerating the extent of his injury?
I still don't see the comparison. First of all Mayweather won the first fight. Second of all him claiming to have a torn rotator cuff was self diagnosed.

Pacquiao and his camp specifically said that he got an MRI that revealed a severe tear, which was the same injury that Kobe Bryant had. They have also had about 3 or 4 different stories about when the injury happened since the fight ended.

    What am I missing here?

Not to mention Floyd actually complained about his shoulder where Pac didn't until hours later. This whole thing just makes no sense.

lol Floydiots in this thread acting like Pacquiao has a valid medical opinion and is capable of rendering an unbiased view of when he will be fit to fight. Of course he'd like to believe he can come back soon, because he's eager to come back. Anyone who can get KTFO like he did and still want to fight again is someone who will want to come back almost no matter what.

The reality is that most likely he is under appreciating the continued severity of his shoulder injury, and that we are still many months away from seeing Pacquiao fight. Especially because even when Pacquiao becomes capable of training again, it's going to take a while to rebuild strength after all that time off.

This guy has enough salt and hatred flowing through his veins to spawn hundreds of Fraud Mayweather Jr. fans.

If Pacquiao fights in Macau during the Fall/Winter, what will your excuse for him be then? That he's under appreciating the continued severity of his shoulder injury? Will you continue to stick to using that excuse?

Just re-read the OP. He might be back in training after 3 more months. Being hyperactive as he is he'll likely be dedicated to the rehab. Good news.
