GGG fights 4 times a year and his fans say who cares who he fights he fights 4 times a year.

Ward says he wants to fight 4 times a year and its "they will be bums"

Am i the only one seeing this. But i too hold Ward to a much higher standard so whatever. Hope he fights good fights

It's funny, isn't it? Golovkin fans say it's ok if GGG's opponents are less than stellar because at least he's staying active and fighting 4 times a year.

But now that Ward might start doing the exact same thing it's suddenly not ok and by God his opponents better not be bums or else! The double standards from some of these posters are pathetic.

The difference is that GGG has an open invitation for any top contender to step in the ring with him and none of them do anything other than say 'Sometime in the future but NOT NOW.' Cotto is outright ducking him, Lemieux is following Cotto's lead and Canelo is staying at 155. Others such as N'Dam and Quillin have made avoiding GGG a skill.

Ward seems to be specifically looking for low end opponents when he should be out there challenging the other champions at SMW. That is not close to the same thing.
