As of right now I don't even consider Froch in line for a place in the HOF either.

i'd hope not. you can't put the second best SMW of the era into the hall of fame and keep out the best,

anybody who says froch is the best SMW of the era is a fool, and almost certainly british.

First of all it was the Super SIX, not EIGHT. And Ward did not clean out his division as he was never in possession of all titles at the same time. He also had an unfair advantage during the tournament, never fighting outside the USA and he did not fight Dirrell who dropped out. And since the tournament he has fought only three times. Anyone who thinks he deserves a spot in the HOF based on those statistics has very low standards.
