How is this a bad fight? I've never seen Rios in a dull fight. I'd rather see brook vs Rios than brook vs. Mayweather that's for sure. Rios is a top 10 welterweight and would be his best opponent besides Shawn porter. This is a big step up for brook and will almost certainly get him a shot at pacquiao if he wins

Rios is more popular and has fought the better competition and accomplished way more than brook has. This is a huge step up for brook. Outside of mayweather, who else is available and is willing to fight and has a big name? Khan is ducking him, Thurman has a fight lined up, pacquiao is injured, this is the best available opponent really

By the same token, why would Khan fight Algieri for $1.5m when he could have fought Brook for £6-7m?

That's because the Khan-Brook fight is already big! They're two UK fighters, it doesn't matter how big Brook is in the USA for that. It's not going to take place in the USA like Thurman-Brook would.

        You're dumb.

Khan fought an American New Yorker in Brooklyn to keep his American profile up. Because Khan wants to land the Floyd fight.

Khan doesn't want to fight Brook right now. And let the fight get bigger, especially in the USA so that Americans would pay for a PPV too. Let Brook fight some Americans. He's a nobody in the USA.

Let Brook fight Thurman first. Brook is not known in the US. Let him build his name up.

As for $20million for Floyd.... You're delusional.

Khan-Brook is never going to be PPV in the USA.

He could have landed the Floyd fight by beating Brook in front of 80k fans and winning a world title

Instead he fought on Spike TV on a Friday night for a quarter of the money. And looked like crap

So if Khan fights Paulie next, that's cool with you?

And he came out with a whole lot more credit after fighting Algieri....

Why does he need to build a fight that's already massive, easily best payday for both of them, would sell out Wembley and put them both in a clear #1 position?

PPV in America lol. That'll never happen.

                  You're clearly a fanboy.

He just doesn't know very much about boxing.

Khan is getting $20m for Mayweather apparently. They must not be paying Floyd

Rios is a human punching bag. He's "exciting" against brawlers but Brook is a smart fighter and he will about 95% of his punches and Rios will look like Rocky. This fight wont be remotely competitive.
