First off just because Mayweather was champion and is giving up his title does not give him any authority to say what two fighters will fight for the belt he gave up. That is strictly up to the alphabet organization and Mayweather doesn't have any say in the matter at all. Second Thurman already has a world title so every fight he has is a title fight. Third while Spence looked razor sharp he just beat a nobody and the highest ranked fighter he has defeated was ranked 76th in the world by boxrec. Thurman may respect Spence but I doubt he fears him. He just resents Mayweather trying to dictate who he will fight next when who he really wants to fight is Mayweather and not Mayweather's prospect.

Floyd should be fighting Thurman. Not spence. If Thurman fights Spence, Porter rematch Broner, Brook is fighting Rios, all that leaves ****** ass Amir Khan. Floyd think he slick. He wanna retire with a big KO. Plus Khan brings more money to the table I guess than a guy like Thurman. Spence don't fot Thurman shook though. It's not about that right now. No actually it's not lol. Mayweather can't pick who he wants to fight for the belt. It doesn't work that way he can pick who he wants to fight but he can't just relinquish the title and say yeah I want these guys to fight for it. That's just pure ****ery.
