I really don't understand it. I get the feeling that Wilder lacks confidence a little bit. Like when he was talking **** with Briggs' everything ended with oh well he's on steroids. Briggs is almost guaranteed to be on steroids but he's an inactive 43 year old and he seems to be nervous about fighting him because he's on juice. Juice or not Wilder should be able to beat Briggs and be fully confident in doing it.
What evidence does Wilder have Povetkin is on steroids?

His reluctance to take the test, any fighter that doesn't welcome the idea of rabdom testing is a suspect and will always be a suspect to me even if he took it later.Comment

Povetkin has never been less than 219 lbs his entire career. He was a Super Heavyweight as an amateur. So why should he be a cruiserweight?Comment

He has no proof. If he did, he would not be making public accusations and would be talking privately to the athletic commission and he would refuse to fight without proper testing. Whenever a fighter starts crying about PED use and cannot prove it, he is looking for an excuse to avoid a fight or for why he lost or will lose a fight. I think it is a cowardly act as bad if not worse as ducking a fighter.Comment

I've never heard of Povetkin being reluctant to take a test. He asked for extra, random tests before he fought Wlad, but didn't get them.
Sauerland boxing insist on all year round testing for their fighters, and Povetkin was with them for quite a while, so he would have been tested many times.Last edited by kafkod; 06-25-2015, 12:05 PM.Comment
