If Khan beat Brook you would have said Brook was just another British hype job.
If Khan beat Marquez you would have said Marquez was too old.
If Khan beats anyone they automatically become crap, if he struggles then Khan becomes crap.

Thurman has been chasing the fight with Mayweather as well. He feels the only worthy challengers to Mayweather, in September, is himself and IBF welterweight champion Kell Brook - who already plans to return on September 12th as well, but in the UK likely against Brandon Rios. Thurman or Brook (Rios can get step-aside cash) would be a outstanding event, when coupled with a stacked under card.

      Forget the Khan-man ................

Thurman's the best competition for Mayweather at 147. I'd rather see Mayweather fight one of the champions at 160 though, preferably Lara or Boo Boo Andrade.

          Keep it real Keith.....

You, Brook, and Khan..... are ALL 3rd place runners-up, nothing more.

You did not sign a signature fight, so how could you sport a signature win ?

None of you guys did, you all sat back and waited for others to lose.

You all did nothing, none of you deserve it.

I hope Mayweather fights a JMW, hopefully Lara..... or Cotto.

            Absurd reasoning from Thurman.

The kind of reasoning you would expect to come from someone who knows that he doesn't deserve a Mayweather fight either.

Khan is completely undeserving, but he is ahead of Thurman.

Khan has losses because he made a genuine effort to fight the best and earn his position within the sport.

Earlier losses dont matter, it comes down to current momentum..... who is coming off a defining fight, a signature win, or a career-best performance against a ranked opponent.

They all failed, Thurman/Khan/Brook, nobody did anything to become relevant.

They all qualify as the booby-prize, and would be second-tier opponents imho.

Also, Thurman/Porter get outclassed by Mayweather, Brook/Khan would be better opponents because of style.

Floyd need look no further for an opponent than these guys if he genuinely wants to test himself, yet I expect it to be one of Cotto, Khan or Berto.
None of those guys are ready for Mayweather, two would be outclassed.

Lara is likely the only fighter under 160 who could pose problems for Floyd.

I just want that all these guys ( Khan, Brook, Thurman, Bradley, Porter) stop talking **** and start fighting each other.

                    Yep, exactly ^^

But that doesn't excuse Brook for fighting Gavin as a lead-in to a potential Mayweather fight, that is hardly putting your hand up..... so I take Brook's Mayweather aspirations about as seriously as I do Khan's.

And Thurman has beaten Guerrero, thats it.

Porter is fighting the best competition, but he lost to Brook.

Fcuk em all, no welter was that serious about forcing the fight.

Fcuk those hypejobs, I would even prefer a Cotto rematch.
