No one in the US likes Khan and he has no fan base here. The main reason why people tune into Mayweather fights is to hopefully watch him lose. Therefore Kahn presents a lose-lose scenario more people would actually tune in to watch Kahn get KO'd again and we'd don't need Mayweather to do that. Thurman and Brook are much more marketable as PPV opponents as both have undefeated records with higher KO percentages and are in their prime. Conversely, I think Khan peaked around the time of the Zab Juddah fight. Anyway you look at it Mayweather is going to need another top tier fight on the card in order to gross north of 1 million PPV buys.

If Khan beats anyone they automatically become crap, if he struggles then Khan becomes crap.
You're trying to compare the likes of Algieri to those guys which is just pathetic. Algieri was crap before Khan fought him.

Also when I think of fights I want to see Lara is behind Mayweather in terms of excitement, I know that has zero to do with the possibility of him defeating him but I just don't see Lara keeping pace when the going gets tough, he'd let the fight slip away upon realising he was in for 12 hard rounds, besides the point anyway Floyd would make him miss all night. Their is too slick and slick, Floyd can't be outboxed in my opinion.

going by resumes etc, before may 2nd the man beat Floyd was Manny. a man beat by jmm and Bradley.. jmm and may already went at it so if we're talking resumes, and the ranking of opponents they have wins over, Bradley deserves it more than any of these. shame a promoter stand off would prevent it.

If Khan was as good as he thinks he is, he'd have taken care of Algieri with ease like Pacquiao. Instead he made him look like a prime Antonio Margarito.
