Maybe he won't, but at least Froch took the risks Calzaghe didn't.

I would actually prefer to see Degale and GGG. Because Froch is always pressurized to face either of the two.
So Froch could fight the winner of them. If Degale can beat GGG, then maybe Froch could fight Degale as Degale would be a attractive name for Froch then. If GGG were to beat Degale, Froch can never have to mention Degales name again, and Froch could fight GGG as his last fight.
I don't see why Froch cant fight one more time, because we know he is not the type to stop training. You kind of imagine hed train even if he wasn't a pro boxer. He should let his fans know what will be his last fight. People didn't know Groves would be his last so have been robbed in a sense.

Why was he even retiring anyway? His resume was/is terrible hence why Dawson would have been his best win.
And yes obviously Mayweather has 5 wins better than Lara. Unless we're going to overrate Lara and act like his best win isn't a shot Paul Williams or and up and down fight with Alfredo Angulo.
"Why was he retiring anyway?" Because he'd made enough money and achieved enough to be happy. He was always injured and was 37 years of age. I don't ever question a boxer for wanting to retire just like I won't if Froch retires or Mayweather actually retires.
What 5 better wins than Lara does Mayweather have? Lara would be one of the best wins on his resume. Who cares if no one knows who Lara is. Mayweather must fight him!

There has been some discussion about the two of them colliding, with Golovkin moving up to super middleweight to make the match - but Froch is still unsure of his future. Froch has been inactive since last May's knockout of George Groves before a crowd of 80,000 at Wembley.
Froch has flip-flopped on whether he would face Golovkin. For a few weeks he was very talkative about the fight, but then went silent.

Achieved enough to be happyI guess he didn't need much to be content.
Top of my head in no order;
Pacquaio
Canelo
Castillo
Corrales
Hatton
That's without thinking the first 5 names that come to my head doesn't include the likes of Oscar, Cotto, Mosley, and whoever else that are more than arguably better.
Now let's name Calzaghe's wins better than Dawson.
Arguably Hopkins, the end
And at no point did I say "Calzaghe must fight Dawson" just simply and plainly that Calzaghe saying someone else won't risk fighting someone is rich considering he wouldn't even risk fighting Dawson. Simple and plain.
