No but that's what makes most great pro fighters. The pro game is about hurting your opponent. This isn't the amateurs.
I obviously left out Maidana because he's a good puncher and a great win for Khan. But the rest.. meh. They are good, but none were above good. B- wins more or less.
Yes, this is the pro game but power alone doesn't win fights. If that was the case, Maidana would have beat Floyd and Khan. Why did get dominated by both? Power is not the most important tool. Definitely very important but it's not the end all be all.
You're clearly biased against Khan for whatever reason.
What's wrong with it? Let's think about it shall we? Who is a more dangerous opponent - A guy who can punch or a guy who can't? It's cringeworthy you even try and deflect it. Khan hasn't fought many big punchers other than Maidana and there's a reason for that.
Khan fans coming to the rescue of featherfists
Power don't mean nothing doe.
"by itself" being the key. That's true and for someone who has boxed like yourself should know this and I'm sure you do, but your devotion for Brook is clouding your vision, but power on its own doesn't mean anything. It's as simple as that (Bellew).

Oh god. I'm not saying power is the end of all discussions. Obviously you got to have skills too. But when you consistently fight guys who aren't knocking anyone out, there's a clear red line of cherrypicking.
Especially with Khan's style. He picks guys he knows he'll look good against. He thought he did that with limited guys like Diaz and Algieri too but instead ended up looking like this:

Sure - but this is the pro game. You win by damaging your opponent.
Bellew doesn't have much power.
As I said, there's a clear red line in 90% of Khan's opponents. It's guys he'll look good against. And he doesn't look good against guys with pop which is why he doesn't fight them.

Did you put "Brook's resume" to get that image result?

I meant read in Bellew's voice cuz he says that a lot.
Well, then there is someone like Jorge Linares that wins/stops through accumulation of damage. You don't need that devastating power.
Pro boxing is match making. Right fights at the right time. It is just that with Khan there is a clear red line as you describe it cuz of his chin, but that's why you have "matchmakers" that work for big promotional firms. Every fighter is protected in a way except that with Khan it is painfully obvious.

But Jorge Linares is a boxer puncher who KOs 2/3 guys he fights and before he fought Mitchell he was on a pretty good KO run against good opposition. I'm not saying you need one-punch power. But honestly, Algieri, Alexander, Malignaggi etc etc - when are the last time they even saw something like that?
I agree. Hell, if I was his matchmaker I'd do the same. But then don't turn around and tell me he's gone through everyone or did something spectacular when he's been protected.

I don't even call him elite. For me I think it is remarkable for a guy with such horrendous chin to get this far. That alone is an achievement.
