Algieri a monster bro.
Anyway I really feel like they should have fought before ramadan. The winner would have made a convincing statement towards Mayweather. If Khan wasn't under the impression that he already had that fight cinched, there would have been some chance he took that fight. But since he doesn't have much to gain in his mind, he won't do it. (aka risk of losing and falling totally out of the discussion for Mayweather too great even for a solid payday against Brook)Last edited by BrometheusBob.; 06-24-2015, 09:55 AM.

Khan is 100% right, why should he be the stepping stone for Brook
Fight 2 -3 of these top boxers, raise ur stock and Khan will fight you.
The truth of the matter is Hern has no confidence in Brook and will not match him up with anyone with a pulse until he gets the Khan fight.
Kell Brook has done so little yet makes all these big demands.

Garcia most likely refused rematches because in typical Khan fashion, he tried to dictate the terms and drag him up to 147 despite being the victim of a brutal knockout at 140.
As for there being 'no doubt' Khan beats Garcia now, that is absolutely laughable Khan fanboyism. All it takes is one shot with Amir and I'd put my house on Garcia cracking him with another of those left hooks in 36 minutes.

What justification does he have for choosing a guy who has 2 brutal knockout losses at a lower weight that he hasn't avenged and not one credible win at Mayweather's weight?
Since when has Floyd's fights ever been sold on the fact that it was for a world title? Never. They mean nothing.
LOL, you are trying so so hard to discredit him in whatever way you can. He came back with two wins at 140, went to 147 and beat three top fighters. He deserves it as much as anyone and you can try dig as far as you can, but you're failing.

I think this is such an argument because they BOTH need each other.
Khan has the better resume, but has lost some big fights and beaten guys past their prime. Brook is still building his resume, but is undefeated with a decent win vs Porter as well as being a belt holder which brings something to the table that Khan doesn't have.
Neither is looking OVERLY impressive like "that guy" who deserves Mayweather. What better way to determine that than to claim a victory over one another.
In other words, I don't think either of them stand out. But a victory in a fight against each other can go a long way to proving they may deserve a Mayweather shot.

He said he would vacate them, but he never did. He has spent his career fighting for world titles and collecting them. This new thing of fighters not caring about belts is complete nonsense...it usually comes from those who don't have belts.
