Porter Fighting Maidana Is Going Backwards For Porter

I love Maidana, but he's heavy, out of shape, can't possibly be ready by Sept after living life on two Mayweather Paydays. Not a good or timely fight for either. If Porter wants a world title again, then he needs to be looking at steps towards Thurman, Floyd, Brook; not Maidana who's done nothing since two losses to Floyd. Fight Amir Khan even, if you can get that weasel in the ring.

If I'm Maidana, now that I have reached the pinnacle with a floyd fight, I'm not looking to fight Porter or thurman or any other contender... I'm selling out and being a mayorga and going to be the B-side to all the PPv caliber fighters...

Yeah a great fight for Maidana now is Guerrero. This fight was once in place then cancelled deep in to camp when Guerrero cancelled for shoulder surgery, then never rescheduled. Left Maidana high and dry. Both fighters are at a cross roads in their careers now, and what better time to reschedule. They are both Al Haymon fighters.

Thurman-Porter winner is going backwards by fighting Maidana or Garcia. Thurman should be getting Brook in Wembley. Porter should get Floyd. Maidana should get Guerrero. And Errol Spence should get Amir Khan or Danny Garcia.
