Seriously, with the 6 digit paycheck from the Broner fight, then the two Mayweather fights, that guy is probably living the life right now, not thinking about boxing. It's a good and a bad thing. I mean he probably feels like, after these 3 paydays, i'm not tryna fight for $500k again. He probably can't get up for a fight unless it's Canelo, Cotto, Mayweather III, Pacquiao, Marquez.

I think you're right and I can't criticize him for it.

Yes - Algieri would be a good bounce-back. If Maidana looks good in that, no need to mess around with Berto, though. Go straight to Garcia...or someone of similar caliber.

If I'm Maidana, now that I have reached the pinnacle with a floyd fight, I'm not looking to fight Porter or thurman or any other contender... I'm selling out and being a mayorga and going to be the B-side to all the PPv caliber fighters...

            PPv fights for Maidana
            Manny
            Marquez
            Cotto
            Canelo

Maidana vs anyone of those guys would be a big fight..
In theory that's the perfect scenario for him. But the current political landscape it would ne next to impossible to those fights.

i don't think chino would be ready to fight this year, and if he is, his people won't put him in there with porter, they will want a soft touch as a comeback. porter-maidana is a helluva fight, definitely will have much more action than porter-broner, one thing for sure, chino won't run and hold all night long

Lets see if Porter can do any better than Floyd did against Khan's leftovers..
