Ward did call out ggg **** head! He has been calling out ggg. He said don't come to my division and try to side step me. He also confronted Loeffler at the Mayweather/Pac fight. Team ggg hasn't said shyt about wanting to face Ward. They sounded excited as shyt to fight Froch at 168 and Floyd at 154 but Lara.... Wait he doesn't bring money? You didn't show me any evidence of Ward calling out Golovkin. As usual you post with nothing of substance. Ward has said he wasn't ready to face Golovkin in the fighter meeting and he's already been stated as needing a few tuneups before a fight with Golovkin.

If Ward is willing to accept that he is the B side and willing to accept B side money, that fight could be easily made. Or if Ward's rich promoter is willing to put up the money, that fight could be easily made.

But if Ward is expecting a high payday and to be the A side, he will need another year or two to build up his brand to the point where he deserves it. By that time, GGG will no longer have any use for a Ward fight.

There is no possibility of a purse bid in the Lara situation because Golovkin is contracted exclusively to HBO. That means he cannot fight on another network, any other network. And HBO will not give permission for one of their biggest stars to be used by Al Haymon to promote his PBC operation and Haymon will not allow Lara to fight on HBO and receive triple the ratings he got on Spike causing a huge embarrassment for PBC. That fight is not happening and only a complete idiot would still be asking for it. Not to mention that it is a totally pointless fight for GGG and a no win situation. Even if he KTFO Lara in the first round, people will say he beat up on a smaller guy.

Take away the title holders and a couple of the top contenders and the rest of the division are guys that make you wonder how they got there. Middleweight like most of the divisions today are diluted by four champions and few true contenders after that.

There is money in a Ward fight and Ward is a HBO guy so that can be made without having to deal with Haymon vs HBO politics. But GGG and his handlers know they will lose that fight. And GGG wants to stay at near 160 for the bigger named fighters. GGG and his handlers are not scared of Lara there is just no MONEY in that fight and it will be a ugly fight where even when he wins he won't look good doing it. He will decision Lara but not knock him out because Lara will not engage. If Lara ran from Canelo why does anyone think he will stand and fight the bigger GGG? Ward or Chavez is where the money is if he goes up. If he stays he just has to wait till Lemieux, Canelo or Cotto, or very long shot Mayweather fights him. Which is best case scenario next year. If Lara wants GGG move to 160 and beat a few guys to earn a mandatory shot. Otherwise GGG or any big name fighter has no reason to go out there way to fight him. He brings NOTHING to the table.

Lara just tried to headline a show for SpikeTV 2 weeks ago and it was a disaster. You don't get a GGG fight after that performance and after you failed to pack the arena and got putrid TV ratings. That combined with the politics of him being down with Haymon make it pointless to even consider him for GGG.
