Arum is full of ****. Brook will have a choice of who he gets to fight. He will choose Mayweather over Rios. The WBO is Rushing Floyd to make a Decision and it is clear that they want Floyd to Vacate the 154 Belts and they want him to fight Kell Brook. Floyd will probably choose Brook.

If Mayweather vs Brook happens, Arum can say goodbye to that WBO Belt for a while.

Simple. The WBO wants to collect multiple sanctioning fees the way the WBA and WBC have been doing for years.

Yeah, I believe Floyd's words were "Im going to make sure it happens"

Then again he also seemed sure when he said he would have ***** carry his belts to the ring if he ever fought Pacquiao, and we know that didnt happen.

Floyd and Haymon have probably more spite towards Golden Boy than Top Rank right now. I don't see him keeping the WBO belt unless they decide to drop there names from the Haymon lawsuit.

Yea, he mentioned it in at least 3 interviews

He's getting his promoter hat on and Spence in his eyes will lead the way

As Floyd retires, Spence wins his first title, which was previously held by Floyd, thats quite a story, like a passing of the baton

But Thurman and Porter are risky fights, maybe Floyd see's something in Spence that we have yet to see?

In the Jim Gray interview he brings up that working with Top Rank was bad business, and felt strong about that, repeated it twice shaking his head.

I think you are right, theres more spite towards Golden Boy than Top Rank. They just didnt want to do business with Top Rank and made an exception for the Pacquiao fight but its more personal with GB atm

I do believe Floyd's company will have a tough time developing prospects if hes going to be the matchmaker. He has a sink or swim approach and puts his guys in tough fights that they probably arent ready for.

He seems to like Spence alot, but from my understanding Spence is still a free agent and only advised by Haymon. Obviously Mayweather Promotions is the likely destination but I get the vibe from Spence that he isnt awe stuck by Mayweather, and doesnt put him on a pedestal. I dont think Mayweathers going to have the whole "lil bro, big bro" relationship that he had with Broner.

Mayweather already mentioned Spence fighting GGG someday. I know hes excited to map out Spence's career, but hes going to get Spence beat.

Yea i think we can all agree Thurman and Porter at this stage of Spence career is a big ask.

                    He needs another 2 years

They shud maybe throw him in the ring witha gatekeeper boxer and see where he is at really

A common opponent with Thurman or Porter

Leonard Bundu wud be a good fit, tough, durable and went 12 with Thurman

Kind of ironic Floyd's company takes the sink or swim approach when he hasn't taken that approach in his career since the Corrales fight...

Isn't Floyd fighting Berto or Victor Ortiz in September?
