Brook didn't fight Gavin Rees, he fought Frankie Gavin.

I stand corrected! However, it makes no difference! Gavin, Algeri, and Collazo, are all weak opponents to make a case for fighting Floyd, in comparison to either 2 of them (Brook, Khan, Thurman) fighting each other! That's what should of happened, 2 of the 3 should have fought each other!

People forget that Maidana was the most feared in the divison and had a 90% KO percentage. A bit like Thurman now, if Amir doesnt get the Mayweather fight, I wouldnt be surprised to see him derail Thurman.

There are two types of fights available for Mayweather: one = fighting Triple G the biggest threat to him since Pacquiao 5 years ago OR two = fighting anyone else aka an easy Vegas-home cooking 12 round decision

Looking at Floyd's track record, it seems pretty obvious that Floyd will going for door number #2...

Brook's style is no threat to Floyd...he's not going to run from Floyd like he did against Porter and win...

Thurman hasn't fought anyone with boxing skills though..he's fought come forward-plodders... Collazo would have been a test for him about 7 years ago maybe but not anymore...

Neither one has a shot of beating Floyd in Vegas by decision..Thurman is a boxer-puncher not a pressure fighter... only way to even have a chance against Floyd is to pressure, pressure, and pressure and go to the body ala Maidana I and Castillo I and II...

Triple G is the only fighter who can pressure and cut off the ring enough to have a shot at beating Floyd...

And even in that fight..I think Floyd could get on his bike for 12 rounds and pot shot his way to an undeserved-12 round decision...
