Porter and Devon are on the same level, regardless of Porter beating him.

What level has Brook been fighting at consistently? Stepped up one time, got the win by the skin of his teeth. Then what? nothing

There isnt much separating Khans last 3 opponents and Thurman last 3 opponents.

So lets rate Brook, Thurman, Porter and Khanjob. Brook is rated higher than Porter bcuz he beat him. Porter beat Alexander. Khan beat Alexander also. Porter over devon gets a higher rating than Khan over Alexander bcuz there was a title on the line. And whenever a fighter loses his rating takes a hit, so Khan over Devon doesnt rate him higher than Brook or Porter. Thurman beat Guerrero for his rating, but its difficult to see where he stacks up against brook, porter but he does have an interim title.

What i got: Brook > Thurman > Porter > Khan > Alexander

Like i said, when a fighter loses his rating takes a hit..so when Garcia KOd Con, he was no longer a titlist, thats how title fights work..the winner is the Champ while the loser rebuilds. Khan is literally STILL rebuilding...he hasnt returned to the title scene since, where Brook and Thurman CURRENTLY are. Do u understand??

Yea, but it's really strange when no one is talking about Khan at all, when the discussion is about GGG and Froch, that someone would keep insisting on bringing Khan into it.

And downplaying Khan is completely different from having racist Khan hissy fits for no apparent reason. And Khan has had good competition. He hasn't won all those fights, but he's fought lots of good ranked competition. I do think there are at least a few fighters at Welter that would beat him. Hopefully, Khan Brook happens if he doesn't get FLoyd.

GGG is trying to fight the best competition, you can't really fault him for the way things have gone down. He's trying to fight Cotto, Canelo, and Froch. We know this.

But Khan doe i gotcha, i see things similar. Unfortunately, due to lack of fights being made, Khans reluctance to take Brooks offer or take on Thurman, we have to resort to debating who has beaten the best bums recently instead of finding out who is the better guy the ol' fashioned way.

Khan battered Maidana, dropped him and Floyd needed two attempts to beat him

Khan beat Julio Diaz, Porter needed two attempts to beat him

Khans is therefore better than Floyd

^^^We can all make ****ty arguments to favor one boxer or another

but lets look at Brooks resume, he has one notable win in some 30 plus fights

Khan has too many to list

Thurman has been fighting decent boxers consistently

You can say what you want about Khan, he's been in the ring with solid competition

Brook had a chance to fight Devon, he had a chance to fight Bradley, and he chose not to fight them

You can talk about rankings, and paper titles, but list Brooks opponents and have a good laugh

I think Thurman might give Mayweather a good go. Brook however, is a no go.

We're either seeing Mayweather-Thurman or Mayweather-Khan, at this stage I really don't know who Mayweather is eying next, just stating my opinion. Announcements are close to the dates though, we're heading to July and Mayweather would have two months for training camp.
