Will Cotto's cowardice and the WBC's corruption prevent GGG from unifying 160?

you're getting unified massively confused with undisputed, two completely different words describing completely different situations.

No, he wasn't. It was clear Canelo was next.

While there is a Canelo fight and a possible Floyd fight the WBC will continue not to enforce the mandatory status that triple G has. They will collect more sanctioning fees from those two than from 3G

Will GGG ever fight a worthy opponent other than little Cotto so as to justify the GGG groupie love around here?

          Questions... So many.

one scenario I see happening is floyd dropping the 154 lbs titles, keeping the WBO belt, Cotto vacates the 160 lbs strap and fights Canelo for the WBC 154 lbs title. Floyd can fight winner of Cotto-Canelo for his 50th fight maybe

If Cotto intended to fight Golovkin after the Canelo fight, he would have no problems at all signing an agreement to that effect.
... It ain't over until the fat lady sings... WBC is resourceful, various things may happen -- like, for instance, Cotto getting the Floyd rematch at 155.

Funny that up to now I haven't heard a single convincing argument as to how cotto would be able to beat ggg. Cotto can't out box ggg, because he'd get taken to the ropes and mauled, and he can't slug it out with ggg, because the fight would be 1 round, and it would end with cotto on his knees. Ggg has the height, weight, reach, youth, and power advantage on cotto, and I'd honestly be surprised if cotto sees the 6th round. All in hearing is "cottos resume" and "cottos the a side", but the truth is that cottos resume, and his side in the negotiations won't mean **** when he's in the ring with ggg. Ggg beats him worse than Margarito did,and the best part is that he doesn't need plaster to do it. Love it or hate it,its the truth,so let cotto do his little thing with canelo, and then he can just vacate the belt, and ggg can take what is rightfully his.

Only a Coward would call Cotto a Coward. Cotto is a straight M.O.F as a fighter. His record speaks for himself and hes fighting Canelo next, another fight lots of people have been looking forward to and a risky fight as well.

Funny how i predicted ur comments before u even posted.

                    and I quote myself:

"When Cotto vs GGG gets made all boxingscene posters will forget yall were calling him a coward, diva, chicken.... and ur new threads will be:"cotto will get killed by GGG"

thanks for proving me right.... first call him a coward then say he has no chance....classic

Which one is it? because whether he wins or not is a different topic.

Same answer applies to all three posts...

WBC has no say in the matter. If Golovkin does not step aside, Cotto must be stripped of his title before his next fight. That means no MW title fight between Cotto and Canelo or Cotto and Mayweather or Cotto and whatever fighter you can think of who is not named Gennady Golovkin. WBC can have the tongue removed from every fat lady on the planet to keep them from singing and it makes no difference. Golovkin is the one calling the tune on this one.

People really have to understand that Golovkin's mandatory status and his interim title are considered to be contracts under the law. WBC cannot break that contract by itself and GGG could go to court for an injunction to prevent any fight from being sanctioned for the MW title as long as he retains his mandatory status. This has happened in the past and almost caused the collapse of the WBC.

I do not believe they want to go through that again. Cotto will be stripped, or as I believe, he will vacate the MW title in exchange for the Canelo fight being sanctioned for the 154 title that Floyd will be vacating, or the interim 154 title if necessary.
