Will Cotto's cowardice and the WBC's corruption prevent GGG from unifying 160?

I do not consider holding TWO titles to be unifying. Unifying the titles requires a fighter to hold all the major titles in a division. When he gets the WBC title, he will become a multiple title holder but not the unified champion. And it says a lot for Golovkin that other 'champions' would rather get stripped or vacate than face him in the ring. I believe that should be noted in the record books beside the name of each fighter who ducks him and vacates their title.

All of them would make him undisputed, more than one makes him unified. Damn casual.

Freedom, its prize fight dummy. Would u fight Golovkin for 8 millions or Canelo for 15+ millions?

Unifying titles is also holding two titles Whether you like it or not. GGG is a unified title holder because he has the ibo title. And the WBA

Semantics. I consider a unified title holder to hold all titles. There cannot be multiple unified title holders... There can be only ONE!

Whether you consider it or not.... that's not how it goes.

2-3 titles = Unified (because the champ "unified" his title with another champ)

4 titles = Undisputed (I dont think ya need a definition for that lol)

GGG isn't a "unified" champion by the way. IBO is not a legitimate, sanctioned title (at least not from what I know of WBC/WBA/IBF/WBO)

GGG is technically, a "belt holder".

you can consider what you want, but in boxing 2 champs on the same division can unify by fighting each other even if they dont hold all of the titles...

Cotto is a 4th division champ, fighting out of his weight class, meanwhile the true "warriors" like canelo, golovkin, ward rigondeaux are all 1 division champs and u guys are all over their d*cks.

Cotto, like any other new champ, has a voluntary defense which he just took and now hes going for the money fight, Canelo (didnt u guys said he will duck canelo too?)

When Cotto vs GGG gets made all boxingscene (chicanos) posters will forget yall were calling him a coward, diva, chicken.... and ur new threads will be:"cotto will get killed by GGG"
Cotto has FOUGHT EVERY SINGLE MOTHER F8CKER IN HIS GENERATION AND YOU KEYBOARD WARRIORS ONLY KNOW HOW TO HATE.
Cotto fought PEDs Pacquiao and Plaster Margarito... what can scare cotto this late in his career? get real.

Sidenote ~~~~ Hey Brushmyhair, guess what? Cotto will always be a bigger star, better fighter and more accomplished boxer than broner.
                    this,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,100 de acuerdo

But will Miguel Cotto ever fight him? If he's afraid, why doesn't he just drop the WBC belt?
Cotto and Canelo will probably be for the WBC mw title and once Cotto wins that, I guess he will drop the belt or the Mayweather rematch might happen in September. Anyway, both those fights require the WBC 160lb title. After that's done, Cotto will say "I'm not a mw) and move back down or retire.
