Rapidly becoming the most annoying fanbase on NSB. I actually like Golovkin and enjoy watching him fight, but his hardcore fans are absolute bellends.
It's nothing new though, i remember when the same type of idiots were ****ing on about Lucian Bute, about how he was a beast, that nobody wanted to fight him, that he was going to KTFO Andre Ward etc. (any of this sound familiar?)
Froch ended that hype train, and i believe a prime, motivated Froch would've done the same to GGG.
okay!!!...you're the dude on here who studies the race of the fighters that people support on here.....you get upset when Kings like myself bash or criticize white fighters as if there is some sort of racial intent behind it...why do you behave in such a manner bro...like real talk, grow the **** up
The comment was just about Golovkin's willingness to fight in a foreign country, and how his warrior mentality is in contrast to some other fighters who lack the courage to do so.

Why bring race into it?
man you KNOW what I'm talking about...stop acting ******!!...you know EXACTLY what I mean
Ironic, isn't it. To this very day, Carl Froch still mentions that he wanted to fight Joe Calzaghe near the end of Joe's career, but Joe would not take a fight with Carl. Presently, Carl talks about fighting GGG but does not set up a fight with GGG. My, my, my, how the worm turns. Years after Carl was denied a chance to fight J.C., he is still bitter about it, but in the present day, when Carl could set up a fight with GGG (and in the U.K. no less), he fails to do so - despite talking about GGG.
Froch and Ward have accomplished far more than GGG has at the same point in their careers.
They had fought and beaten the best in their division bar none. And GGG who feeds off of club fighters thinks he can just ride their coattails?
GGG is quickly becoming annoying, chasing after fighters that are legit cash cows begging them for fights, when they would be doing him a favor in every aspect.
They would be making much less fighting him, effectively taking a pay cut just so he can get a pay day......yeah no thanks.
Build your own brand then call out the big dogs, Cotto, Canelo, Froch all put in work to get to where they are.
Another 'fan' who thinks that boxing revolves around the US. Golovkin has paid his dues. He paid his dues by fighting 350 amateur fights and by spending years fighting in Germany being passed over for quality fights against Sturm and Abraham only to move to the US to be passed over by every middleweight contender who can think of every excuse under the sun to avoid him.
Golovkin is fighting 4 times per year against anyone who has the balls to get in the ring with him. THAT is called paying your dues. It is well past time that he is rewarded for his patience and efforts.

Probably one of the most tedious comparisons I've ever heard. It doesn't even make sense.

Tyson Fury used to be the most trolled fighter on Bscene, now that dubious honour belongs to GGG.
GGG is criticised for having no "names" on his resume, even though every "name" in his division has avoided fighting him. For calling out Floyd, even though he has never called Floyd out. For ducking Andre Ward, even though Andre himself does not want to fight GGG. For wanting to fight for the WBC and lineal titles in his own division, even though he is WBC mandatory challenger, and now he is being criticised for cherry picking a fight with Carl Froch, in the UK. WTF?
All that unfair criticism provokes a reaction from GGG's fans, of which I am one. And yeah, sometimes that reaction does go over the top.
Re Froch vs GGG. True, a prime Froch would most likely have beaten Golovkin, though I don't think he would have destroyed him like he did Bute.
But that doesn't mean GGG is a hype job. Froch is a SMW. And with his chin, punch, stamina and love of a tear-up, probably the last SMW on earth that a smaller, pressure-fighting MW like GGG should be going up against.
I LOVE how the Froch freaks do their best to put their guy over the top but always include an escape clause. GGG knocks him out and they will say that 'Froch was past his prime and no longer motivated, GGG didn't beat him, he beat himself because he just could not get into the fight. GGG could never have beaten him in his prime'.
Likewise, Froch would not get the credit he deserved should he beat Golovkin. People would just say it proved that GGG was a hype-job all along. And smaller than Froch too.
This is why, as a fan of both men, I hope they don't fight each other.
Probably one of the most tedious comparisons I've ever heard. It doesn't even make sense.
You are the one who doesn't make sense defending the blowhard, Carl Froch. You make pronouncements as if you are God, and nobody is to question what you say. Get your boy, Froch, to fight GGG, and then we'll see about what makes sense or not. Carl is a blowhard. Regardless of what he was when still fighting, he is now a first rate blowhard and nothing more. Ward would fight Froch in the U.K. as long as it were not Nottingham, but that's not good enough for Carl. GGG will fight Carl in the U.K., but Carl won't agree to fight. All this adds up to Carl being a blowhard. I can be of the opinion that both GGG and Ward beat Carl if they fight in 2015 or thereafter. Carl has it in his power to make these fights and show me that I am wrong and that he is not a blowhard, but he won't. There is only one conclusion when a fighter makes bold statements but fails to back them up; he's a blowhard. Blowhard, blowhard, blowhard. And it will never change. Ward thoroughly beat Froch, and now Froch wants no part of Ward - despite blowing off about Ward. GGG has made it clear that he will fight Froch in the U.K., but Froch has clammed up. He isn't seeking to secure a GGG fight. Yet Froch has blown off about GGG as if he would gladly fight him. What else is any fight fan to think of Carl except that he is a first rate blowhard?
If Carl's lacking the motivation to go and fight Gennady, and Golovkin really wants it, he should fight DeGale on the Sept 12 show in London. Knocking off DeGale in front of 20,000 Brits and prime time tv (and during prime time in all the other European countries that already buy his fights), would give Carl some extra motivation.
