Andre Ward would be the best possible fighter at 168lbs and we know he's not as eager to get in the ring with him. For Golovkin, he either gets his payday or he fights a bum.

That match isn't even PPV in the US. Froch would literally be throwing Golovkin a bone and taking a paycut for himself.

Andre Ward has not earned the right to fight GGG yet. GGG has earned the right to call out and to fight anyone he wants to. That comes from being active not sitting on your butt for a year and a half like Ward. Froch is a much bigger draw than Ward on a worldwide stage. GGG wants a big name and all the middleweight top guys like Cotto are running from him.

That's right. GGG has earned the right to call out anybody he wants to that will benefit his career. Froch is a huge in England and would be great for GGG's resume. Ward has sat on his butt for a year and a half and Smith is a bum. Ward hasn't earned the right to fight GGG yet. GGG is not avoiding anybody. They are all avoiding him.
