Not surprising. I expect a Porky Medina type at the SMW limit for his next fight. After that, focus on world championship level fights.

Ducklovkin, Froch II, DeGale, Jack-Groves winner, Abraham-Stieglitz IV winner, Chudinov. A lot of options left at SMW.

Who dares to challenge the lineal super middleweight champion?

As expected. Ward is scared to fight with the big boys. The only legit fight for him is degale. Other than that he's just afraid to move up

That really is starting to look like the fight to make at 168, but I would love to see Degale rematch Groves to be honest.

Degale needs it for validation, and so does Groves now.

          Golovkin is doing it.

I don't see anything at 168 other than maybe De Gale, but the truth is Ward brings no money so I don't see guys itching to fight him.
          Same thing with Golovkin

His real chance at stardom is 175. He'll stay on BET fighting overmatched opponents.
He fought on BET because the 6/20 date didn't work for HBO but it was the only date that the Oracle arena was available for Ward so HBO gave him permission to fight on BET. By the way, if you are trying to grow your black fan base (I'm Black by the way)...fighting on a all Black Network isn't bad.

I doubt DeGale does much for HBO. His fight with Dirrel did pretty horrible ratings.

I've seen many people say there is a beef between Haymon and Rocnation. If Ward goes to 175 who does he fight besides Kovalev. Stevenson and Beterbiev are both with Haymon. At 168, Ward can fight Groves, DeGale, Chavez Jr, or maybe even Golovkin. Plus, he can try to lure Froch out of semi-retirement.

I would love to see him fight Degale, Froch and Golovkin. Then he can move up to 175.

So all im seeing is a fighter who already unified 168,returning to an empty division,in order to get a big fight with who? Degale? This would be the equivalent of ggg cleaning out and unifying all the belts at 160,taking a catch weight near 168 against a C rank fighter and then he moves back into an empty 160 division, instead of challenging himself. If ggg did that,he'd be a bum, coward, cherry picker,p*ssy and he'd be ducking the whole 168 division. But when ward does it,its an intelligent move, because its "good to see champions dominate their division", and there's no way possible that he's avoiding the 175 division, since he'd get ktfo by kovalev or artur. The double standards in this sport are ridiculous.

Doesn't the same hold true for Golovkin..he's scared of the big boys and is waiting for welterweights to move up to fight him.

He can move up 8 pounds for Ward.

Im disappointed about this choice. Really want Ward to go up and take Kovas straps, reminding these haters that the US has the best fighters out there. As talented as he is, he just chose to stay mediocre.

Ward has beaten Kessler, Abraham, Froch, and Dawson.

Ducklovkin has beaten Daniel Geale and Martin Murray.

                      Choke on a **** f*ggot.
