True. Many of the users here are suckered into amateur fights and amateur records and etc... and sometimes they believe them more than their own eyes. For example I saw a guy defended Golovkin's lack of defense that "his amateur record was 300 something - 5, so he has a good defense". Okay...
Amateurs only works in the case of Rigondeaux, and Lomachenko.
But Jerry Belmontes did beat Figueroa in Amateurs and in the Pro's he Clearly beat Figueroa and totally got robbed.
I'd favor the significantly more battle tested Porter -- but Sadam can box. He'd have a pretty good shot and it wouldn't surprise me at all if he pulled the upset.
