    Am I wrong?
    uh, yeah

and anyway, it's pretty embarrassing to a see 25 year old at his physical peak trying (unsuccessfully) to replicate the style of a 38 year old veteran with one eye on retirement

Now I see your just not being realistic, Broner is lightening fast, he just doesn't use it. At one point he flicked a Jab at Porter and I don't think I've ever seen one faster.

He's just a coward. How is he flat footed when every time he got tagged he ended up half way across the ring?

Hate the guy all you want, I do now. But stop this nonsense.
      I don't think Broner is a coward. I don't. Here's my take on it.

I think Broner was simply "strongly encouraged" to fight Porter, by Floyd. (Why else would Mayweather Promotions be the co-promoter on a PBC card? Why would Floyd himself be up there? Why would he waste the time on a non-PPV event? Yeah, I know Errol Spence who looked great, but I think it's mighty funny still.)

I think Broner simply didn't want this fight, and didn't have real confidence in himself. I know the American commentators were on Broner's jock, but on the British side they were blasting Broner fiercely - don't understand his fight strategy, why'd it take him 11 rounds to start fighting back, he seems nervous, etc.

I think Broner walked in there figuring he would stay safe through to the final rounds, then put Porter away in flashy fashion so he'd get a decision. Adelaide Byrd was already leaning in that direction as was Dave Moretti. I feel, had Broner not gotten the point off by Weeks (late), Broner would have taken a majority decision.

Speaking of leaning, people want to say Broner learned holding from Floyd. Floyd NEVER did that much holding in a fight. I've only seen that much clinching in a Wladimir CLINCHko fight or an Ali fight. I mean Broner was literally trying to pull Porter's arms out of his sockets at times, leaning totally on him full body weight (not just pushing his head down), holding his fist in his face...all Ali tactics. Broner clinched at least 3 times per round. That's nearly twice what Floyd did, all told.

After Weeks took the point off, Broner looked out at the audience in shock. How much do you want to bet he looked straight at Floyd, like, "why'd this happen? I thought you fixed it!"

Floyd got up and left and MADE SURE he was on camera doing it, before the results were announced. Creepy. He knew Broner got schooled.

It felt like Floyd set that boy up to fail. I don't have ANY proof. But that's what it felt like - as if he stacked the deck on Broner to perform. Broner fails to perform, Floyd walks.

If we see that dude get kicked out TMT, we'll know for sure it was all arranged.

You could very well be right, But I think if Broner can't see the punches coming he panics and it shows in him jumping around the ring to get away.

Floyd never liked Broner IMO, He always tried to steal Floyd's limelight and I could always see the resentment in Floyd.

Floyd liked that if Broner did become the next big star that in a way he would always be relevant as Broner was considered a Mayweather clone.

I've read a few threads & I haven't seen anyone post how Broner was wobbled by a left hook in the second... I think that set the pace of the fight & showed exactly how the Maidana fight got to Broner, after that Broner tried to turn the fight into a Muay thai clinch fest, we had everything but knees thrown after he got caught.

Very possible. Broner was afraid to let his hands go. Funny thing is he has a whole lot more power than Porter. Porter's just ultra aggressive. Broner's strategy should have been to take him out. But the one-punch-at-a-time Broner is not the answer. Has Broner ever thrown a combination? Is this from the TMT coaching manual?

He might have even won the fight if he actually threw punches, like he did in the 12th. But he showed he cant deal with brawler type fighters like porter and maidana, seems afraid of getting KOD. Tries way too hard to be "defensive" like floyd but difference is floyd actually has a great defense lol

There were several times where porter was right in front of him slightly out of range. And broner was throwing straights and jabs and couldn't touch porter it was embarassing .couldn't close the slight gap

That's part of out thinking out boxing someone. And broner failed big time.
Read what i put after that, if he wasnt so lazy he could have but his mindset is all wrong, yes porter stayed out of range but thats what his lead is for, to measure distance and occupy him whilst setting up his offense.

his problem lies in his unwillingness to dedicate himself and listen to instructions from his trainer, and its not going to change now.
