Spence has been saying for over a year, he is ready. Well, if no one is forcing him, and he wants this fight, why the hell shouldn't we be clamouring for it? It would EASILY be one of the best match ups of the whole year. He's 25 and has already fought enough soft opponents on TV. He's been sparring with the absolute best in the world for years. He's hardly a novice.

Fighting more soft opponents does nothing for his career. He is smart to not waste anymore time.

What you want to see Thurman and Spence fight more matched opponents? I really do not understand some of you guys.

We need to be pressurising Thurman to accept this fight. Frankly, after Thurmans talk he needs to accept this fight if he is a man.
Because I would rather see Thurman against Brook, Porter, Floyd, Khan or even Maidana at this stage in his career.

Spence would beat Thurman up. Thurman is overrated, including his power! I've watched him fighting bums past 30 mins and loads of them stood up to his flush shots, it was just the accumulation that put them down. Spence got nothing to worry about from one shot.

Who is this Spence guy anyway? I've heard on here that he's some sparring partner that is beating up guys in sparring that he's not supposed to beat up or somthing?

Because you don't think Spence is good enough?

Well, is Spence a better opponent the Bundu, Guerrero, and Collazo?

Thurman talks a lot. He said Alexander is not a real welterweight, but he refuses to fight Alexander even though Alexander called him out.

Yea, those would be great fights. He can fight them after Spence.

Spence Thurman is absolutely a great fight.

At this point, no I don't think he belongs in the ring with Thurman. I do agree that as far as a high caliber opponent, Spence ****s all over Bundu, Guerrero and Collazo.

As far as Alexander goes. Would'nt fighting him make Thurman a hypocrite?

I also believe it will be a great fight, but in a couple years. Not today.

I really don't think this fight is too soon for spence. For me Thurman is still a little green, if you stick a jab in his face and move a bit Thurman does not have a clue what to do next.

Exactly. I really think if anyone it's Thurman who will not want this fight. Spence has the boxing skills and the power to potentially school Thurman.

Lets see how Thurman responds. If he stays silent then we'll know who is the one that doesn't want the fight.

Why is Floyd...of all people saying Spence should fight Thurman when Spence hasnt fought nobody not even a top 20 fighter.....And Why da hell would Thurman fight him when he has been trying to get big fights, he would gain nothing...High Risk, No Reward type fight

If anything Floyd should be fighting Thurman...smh

Spence is a big fight. He is widely considered the next super star.

Spence would certainly be a bigger win then freaking Bundu, Guerrero or Collazo.

Thurman says he is a warrior that will fight anyone. Well, if he ducks this, we'll know he is full of shlt.

                    Spence will body him.
