Well if all you guys are right, Thurman should not hesitate one second in taking this fight.

I have a very strong feeling he will not take this fight.

I don't agree it's too early for Spence. The dude is what 26, 27? He's smack dab in the middle of his prime. Time to step up, or not point in ever doing it. Otherwise, risk being another Mike Jones.
Yeah, he dropped Bundu in the first round and almost dropped him again later on in that fight.

      I agree with you guys.....

You develop a fighter, casual fans dont seem to understand this.

You give them time, because you can.

In saying that, Mayweather has worked with Spence, and he said that Spence is ready now, so..... ?

I agree with what you're saying about Spence, no argument.....

But I dont see that fight as a mismatch.

Thurman is better than I thought he was initially, but not as good as most others seem to think..... and Spence is a very good young fighter.

I dont see Spence being outmatched in that fight, but yea, I would give him more time before stepping in with Thurman.

Interesting that Mayweather seems to think Spence is ready now.

Guys develop differently, and Spence has been around for a long time now.

Danny Garcia is not going to fight Spence any time soon if ever. Spence is only going to get a lot better by the way things are looking.

Spence hits like a mofo too and him an Thurman have history. He's claimed very confidently that he gave Thurman the business. Good fight but not a risk worth taking for Thurman. My money's on Spence, I believe he's that good.

I think that fight may be a little too soon for him. But hey, if he wants it, and it can be made.

He's got talent, he needs to follow his own path though and not jump into fights just because Mayweather talks them up.

I like spence a lot. How about we get him some wins over top 20 guys instead of throwing him in with one of the best welterweights. A nice steup, if you want to match him tough, at this point, would be like a Diego Chavez or maybe like Shawn Porter should he lose to Broner.

I find it utterly baffling so many people are saying too soon.

Spence has been saying for over a year, he is ready. Well, if no one is forcing him, and he wants this fight, why the hell shouldn't we be clamouring for it? It would EASILY be one of the best match ups of the whole year. He's 25 and has already fought enough soft opponents on TV. He's been sparring with the absolute best in the world for years. He's hardly a novice.

Fighting more soft opponents does nothing for his career. He is smart to not waste anymore time.

What you want to see Thurman and Spence fight more matched opponents? I really do not understand some of you guys.

We need to be pressurising Thurman to accept this fight. Frankly, after Thurmans talk he needs to accept this fight if he is a man.
