We know he won't be in there with anybody good. He is waiting for a Cotto-Canelo fight that might never happen. Why not do a catch weight fight with some of the guys at 168?
N'Dam-Lemieux winner seems obvious.

Golovkin.....
1) is widely criticised for poor opponent selection
2) has stated that 168 is not a problem
3) needs a top scalp like Ward for validation
I dont understand why GGG wont take that fight, if he is as good as they say.
Team Golovkin say they cant get a top fighter..... and yet Cotto will fight him at 155, Lara will fight him at 160, and Ward will fight him at 168.
Done and dusted !
ALL would pay more than Willie Monroe, and ALL would give him validation.
People need to see the excuses for what they are..... excuses !Last edited by aboutfkntime; 06-18-2015, 07:02 PM.

Canelo and GGG are roughly the same size in the ring on fight night.
GGG is actually fighting at MW, while Canelo is dragging his feet and draining himself because he knows what's waiting for him if he steps up.

1) Fight-night weight, or rehydration weight, is completely irrelevant
2) Canelo fights in a different division than Golovkin LOL

If Golovkin continues to hide behind your skirt, he will never develop a resume.
BTW, I fixed your post.....

when did cotto say he would fight ggg at 155? you just made that up. he just fought geale and ignored ggg's calls. lara and ward would not pay more than monroe. ggg just made 1.5 million to monroes 100k. hbo is not going to offer a much bigger pot for a ggg-lara fight and lara just made a million to fight rodriguez. do the math. same scenario is true for ward-ggg. the pot isn't big enough and unfortunately ward thinks he's the a-side so he won't take a paycut. this is what happens when you overpay fighters. ggg understands he's the b-side against cotto, canelo, froch, and chavez jr and would happily take less money than them but guys like ward don't understand that and sabotage their own careers.Last edited by daggum; 06-18-2015, 07:22 PM.

Good for him and boxing. Boxing needs knockouts not running to decisions Mayweather. He hasn't fought a really big name because they all refuse to fight him, but we all already knew that. Can't wait to see the next fun, exciting knockout.

Floyd was ducked too before he became PPV. He kept moving up and winning until he became P4P #1, and then he got the money fight. Not everyone has refused to fight GGG. He wants a pay day (there is nothing wrong with that), he is doing the samething to guys like Ward, and Lara that is being done to him.
