Lol. Cotto doesn't have any resume at 160. Sergio and Geale were both CW, remember?

Fighting Geale straight after he'd been destroyed by GGG, and draining him down to 157 first, was a real bum trick by Cotto and Roach.

Cotto lost a lot of respect pulling a stunt like that.

Cotto does not have any resume at 160. He fought Martinez at 159 and Geale at 157. Edited:Sorry, kafkod already beat me to it )))

            Agreed!

He needs to be quiet now, just talking way too much.

Cotto should vacate. Him vs Canelo could then be for the 155 lb belt. If he wants to keep the 160 lb title, surely he's have to pay a 7 figure sum to GGG.

"We had to go to court to get this fight blah blah blah"

Disclosure: Cotto is far and away my favorite boxer of the modern era...but I like GGG too.

People who rip on GGG for the quality of his opposition either: (1) need to think harder; or (2) not allow their biases to undermine their intelligence. Simple point: GGG has so convicingly dominated everyone put in front of him that no one wants to get in the ring with him.

It is a perversion of logic to suggest that there is something wrong with GGG wanting to be the lineal champion of of the second most prestigious weight class before moving up and challenging himself in a new division.

As many others have said, Cotto should vacate and fight Canelo at whatever weight they agree to. There's nothing wrong with Cotto not fighting GGG -- as long as Cotto vacates.

155-160 is MW... Apparently these guys who weigh 146 for a WW fight at 147 shouldn't be allowed to fight then?
