Lara has made his desire for the fight clear. Can't say that for Golovkin or his team.

No need to make it racist, man.

Golovkin is signed to an exclusive deal with HBO, HBO seems committed to putting Golovkin out as often as possible (four times a year, regardless of how ****ty the opposition), and HBO is increasing the amount of resources that they are willing to put behind Golovkin (Golovkin's last fight had total fighter payouts of nearly $2m).

Looking at things honestly, logic would have K2 call Lara's management team and state "We have a date on HBO for September/October and we're willing to pay [X] as the purse for the fight; is that a fight that Lara wants?".

K2 hasn't made that move yet, and will likely not make that move at any point ever; Heiland and Johnson will sign to fight each other, K2 will pick off another non-entity as an opponent, and the Golovkin hype machine will try to sell that fight as some epic test for their wrecking machine, as Golovkin goes on to crush another can.
Maybe Lara's side makes a phone call to K2 and says Lara can fight on HBO?
Maybe they call HBO and ask if they will let Lara on their network?
Need to get this ball rolling, if this is the fight Lara really wants(it isn't)

Now golovkin has to come to Lara and ask him what terms he wants? What's next,Floyd coming to amir Khan an asking him what are his terms? Lara can't draw flies to ****(and this is coming from one of his fans) so if he really wants the fight, the least that he could do is tell his management to call gggs people and try to start negotiations. Lara literally has no leverage over ggg,and with the numbers he did on Friday, ggg fighting Monroe seems like may-pac numbers. But its really easy to go 12 rounds with a guy who cotto destroyed in 3,and call out mayweather, canelo, and ggg,and just sit back and wait for offers to come pouring in.

Tom Loeffler already said that the fight can happen.
Fight at 160 and ON HBO.
We have been through this already.

Saying the fight can happen and wanting it aren't the same.
