GGG has taken risks, and fought all over the world: Monaco, USA, Germany.
Andre Ward will not fight a decent opponent outside his home country. He always demands his most comfortable weight, home advantage, etc. And inside the ring, Ward has always been defense-first, and when he feels in jeopardy, he resorts to illegal tactics.
It's obvious from his Ward is extremely envious of Golovkin. They don't even fight in the same weight division.I know it hurts

If RN were to front the money for the minimum purse guarantees, I think the fight becomes viable this year. Based on other similar small-scale ppvs (like Bradley/Marquez), they should easily be able to reach atleast 300k buys, which after tv cut, is still $9mill. If Ward concedes Golovkin is the A side, I think there's enough there with ppv, gate, and foreign tv to make the fight. Especially if Vegas offers to buy it.
RN is already losing money on Ward. BET is a time buy, they're giving away tickets do to poor sales at Oracle. Ward has no other options after Smith. If he fights and beats Golovkin, he instantly gets back the momentum he lost since S6/Dawson.
On Golovkin's side, should he win - his resume instantly becomes golden. His hype is legitimized and with his aggressive style he becomes a bonafide star opening doors for other mega fights.

Ward once again had home country advantage when he fought Froch, who was lethargic that night.
Everyone else in the Super Six had to fight in foreign countries, while Ward had home advantage for every fight.
Abraham vs taylor in germany (isnt abraham 1/2 german?)
Andre dirrell vs Abraham in Michigan (dirrell's home state)
and AC is not wards home state. Its not even on the same coast just in case you didn't know.

Not that it makes any difference to me because I have no religious beliefs, but isn't it very hypocritical of all these so called 'god fearing' people to have all those tats on their body? I guess god's son is going through a rebellious phase or something.
(something about the new testament saying "there are new rules" to follow apart from the "old ways" some crap like that)

AC is in the wrong coast you know.
Ward was the only fighter who didnt have to leave his own country, Im not saying that he wouldnt of won if he did have to fight on foreign soil though.
