Comments Thread For: Golovkin's Promoter on Froch, N'dam-Lemieux, More

Just a few weeks ago, there was a great deal of anticipation from the boxing world that a proposed showdown between Gennady Golovkin and Carl Froch would take place.
With each passing day though, it looks highly unlikely those two fighters will meet later this fall. Or anytime soon for that matter.

So who will Golovkin face in the fall, sometime in mid to late September?

It is looking like Froch may not be that person, according to K2 Promotions’ Managing Director Tom Loeffler.

Sulaiman should strip Cotto of the WBC title if Cotto fails to have GGG as his next opponent. Not the next opponent after Canelo, but his next opponent. Cotto is who GGG should fight next.

i guess they'll need to bid big to convince lemieux or n'dam to turn around and fight triple g just three months after winning their title. i also expect ward to call out golovkin on air this weekend after the smith fight, which could hopefully lead to that clash materialising sooner than previously thought

N'dam would go to whoever had more money (so Quillin or GGG) after the money problem here.
If Lemeuix wins, he might not get on any big channels unless its GGG or Canelo

didnt Ndam already turn down GGG twice? Lets hope Lemiux wins. Even though Oscar probably wouldnt want Lemuix to fight GGG next, at least it would be possible at some point......

apparently so, which would be a good plan imo. but it doesn't solve the problem of who golovkin can fight in september. nsb will explode if it's chudinov or some other no-mark in the wba top 15
