That's their way of saying they won't fight him at junior middleweight. They sure talk **** for a fighter that hasn't had a real ko since 2007. At least ggg knocks people out every time, not RUN to a boring decision.

He'd clobber Mayweather though. You can only go so big before it becomes a problem.

Not that there is any chance at all of a Floyd fight unless Cotto plans to leave Roc Nation first.
It would have been fine for Cotto to fight Geale if he had not drained him with a catchweight. That was a gutless tactic and Cotto is a worm for doing it.
GGG does not need Ward, Ward needs GGG. Froch is retiring, Chavez Jr. cannot fight on HBO and already ran away from Golovkin and was destroyed by Fonfara and is no longer a viable opponent.
I will say it one more time and maybe you will understand it...'
COTTO CAN FIGHT ANYONE HE WISHES TO FIGHT AS LONG AS HE VACATES THE WBC MW TITLE FIRST.

If the casual fans actually try to stop the hatred for Floyd and his hit and not get hit style go a second to really answer the comment, has GGG beat any top fighter? I know Floyd will always be criticized especially when so many people swore Manny would be a challenge. It was too easy. It's Manny and his team for not be prepared for what the world knew he would box. He has done this his whole career but no one has gotten on Manny! GGG has other champions that he can fight. Andy Lee would beat GGG now!!!! Anyone who beats Floyd will have to make him uncomfortable. That's the only way otherwise it will be how he wants it to be. No one take unnecessary punishment so why would he now?

The Mayweather camp issued a statement telling TMZ Sports the guy's just running his mouth for a payday -- and he's way out of his league.
Golovkin -- who's knocked out his last 20 opponents -- told us Mayweather would be his "dream fight" and is 100% certain he'd win if they ever got in the ring together.

Who is Floyd going to fight instead? Khan who just got a gift decision after being exposed by Algieri?
Floyd doesn't fight unstoppable forces in their prime...plain and simple...

Floyd proved nothing in that fight besides he can basically turn any fight into a 10 punch a round type of fight...he definitely did nothing to merit a win..and was dominated in two of the 12 rounds..all the other rounds he basically just avoided exchanges...and this was against a Pac who had surgery days following the fight lol

He would be even less likely to get to fight Cotto or Canelo, because he got salty. Without Cotto, Canelo, Chavez Jr., Ward, or Mayweather, will GGG ever get a PPV fight? Sometimes it's better to lose the battle, and yet win the war! I understand your frustration, but you're arguing with emotion, and not intelligence.
Well as Loeffler has stated very clearly, NO, they will not take any chances and will not take anyone at their word. They will require a signed contact before stepping aside.
Canelo and Oscar have already made it clear that they have no intention of putting Canelo in the ring with GGG for another two years or so.
So is GGG supposed to put his plans on hold for another 6 months to a year only to end up in exactly the same place, facing a WBC champion who has no intention of honoring their obligations and having to force them to vacate the title? That would be a foolish thing to do. Much better to force the situation now and get the title now. Then he will be a unified title holder which will give him more leverage when pushing for unification fights with the remaining two title holders.
As for Chavez Jr., Stoolio is no longer a factor or a PPV draw.
Mayweather is retiring in Sept and even if he does stick around, the chances of a GGG - Mayweather fight will be slim but actually improved if GGG holds multiple titles.
Being a multiple title holder will also raise GGG's value on it's own and if he can become the undisputed MW title holder, he will be the only PPV level fighter at the MW division.
And it all starts by not taking shit from Cotto and the WBC.
No emotion here, just pure and simple analysis of the facts of the situation. Emotion is thinking that Cotto runs boxing and that he can do whatever he pleases with no consequences.
