Ward didn***39;t have to re-weigh. Fight still on. Smith purse was $225k. Lost $45k for being over at weigh-in, then $15k today. Purse now $165k.

Paul Smith is a POS, but it was unrealistic to expect him to put on only 4.6 pounds overnight. He put on 8. No big deal.

Wouldn't say I'm excited, due to the opponent, but I'm curious as to how rusty Ward is after the layoff. I'm most excited for Broner/Porter tonight of course, then N'Dam/Lemieux, then Ward last.

Definitely excited. Not because I think it's going to be a thrilling challenge at all, but because Ward has brilliant strategies, positioning, etc. As someone who trains and constantly wants to improve, I take more away from Ward's fights than any other active fighter.
