Ward should have picked, at least, a smaller LHW and drag him down at 172... Someone like Eleider Alvarez, for instance...

I would LOL if Ward could not stop Smith when a novice James Degale did it and Groves smashed him in 2 rounds.

Abraham have made people think he is durable when it's just that Abraham is over the hill these days.

        I think he might not.
The Layoff might let him work a little more to get back into his groove.
Then again he could, Smith isn't exactly outstandin.
I'd say it's good if he stopped him

Well as much as I routinely 'hate' on Ward, there's no denying that he is supremely gifted. I think he settles down on his punches as he did with Dawson and dispose of the mediocre and hittable brit fairly quickly. Rust will not be a Factor here. Hunter is a great trainer.

Does the time for this fight interfere with Broner-Porter?

On Sky Sports in England they have it as a double header so i'm assuming that means we can watch one then the other live (hopefully).

Maybe the catchweight is playing games on me subconsciously but Ward looks bigger round the face/neck these days. Might aswell move up to 175, Golovkin fanatics will be celebrating lol, i wanted to see that fight but hey at least we got Kovalev to make up for it.

LOL @ Ward coming in at 176lbs. Not gonna help him though, if anything it'll make Ward angry.
