I feel like it's Wilder's crew that are afraid. They know if Povetkin exposes him or KO's him, so much current respect will be lost. But at the same time, if he wins so much more respect will be earned.

Wilder NEEDS this fight, Wlad will obviously beat him... but Wilder has a great chance of beating Povetkin and vise versa.

Povetkin is more skilled, Wilder has the right tools. It's gonna be a beautiful fight. Wilder knows if he beats Povetkin loads of people will start respecting him, less doubts etc. And the issue with Wlad vs Povetkin (if Pov beats Wilder) it'll be nuts. I know Wlad wants Wilder, but Povetkin is eager to get a rematch with Wlad.
Wlad-Povetkin 2 will never happen. The first fight ****** horribly and the second one will do crap ratings.

But more importantly, Povetkin's country has invaded Wlad's country since the last fight and taken it partly over. ***** goes to Povetkin's fights. Vitali ran for Ukrainian President and is trying to rise up the political ranks there. . There is no way in hizell they can make that fight now.

If Wlad wants to unify, Povetkin cannot have the WBC..

and why did russia invade ukraine? because wlad clinched 187 times and wasn't dq'd. ***** doesn't tolerate that kind of sh-it. he's a huge boxing fan. its sad that wlad's "boxing" leads to people being killed but its true. he needs to retire and save lives.

Haymon should let Wilder fight Chambers, he has a better chance of beating Povetkin to keep the world title with PBC.

What a joke. So these clowns were "waiting" for Povetkin when his team offered you a career high $10 million payday and Wildman's manager turned it down saying Wildman "isn't ready" and is just a "college prospect" atm. They know that the negotiations are set in 4 months time so until then they're just going to say this guy doesn't want to fight as a justification for Wildman to wiggle his way out of negotiations and continue to defend his worthless paper title against more sub 50 ranked bums.

If Wlad looks ready to throw a title-shot Wilder's way (which he will), Wilder will get a heck of a lot more than $10mm out of Povetkin's people..

No he won't. He'd get $5 million max for a Klitschko fight. Povetkin with his Billionaire backers is the cash cow of the division. His people will crazily overpay to get fights and win purse bids. Povetkin would be a career high payday for Wilder just as it was for Klitschko.

Wlad-Wilder would go PPV and be competitive with Povetkin's backers. Use the Wlad potential to get more money out of Povetkin's deep-pocketed backers. Wilder could get 15-20 mm out of the fight..
