According to WBC rules doesn't the champ have a year to fight his mandatory?
Wilder won in January, negotiations to be held later this year for a fight by January 2016 sounds ok by me.

      People just hate Wilder.

My guess is Wlad's camp wants Wilder to hold off until after Wlad fights Fury and then Wlad's camp will immediately begin negotiations with Wilder. Wlad's team wants Povetkin with 0% of winning the belt because if he does manage to win it, Wlad will never get a chance at reunification for two reasons 1) the first fight was awful and no one will want to see a second one and 2) the politics between Ukraine and Russia make it impossible to have another Povetkin-Wlad fight.

So expect a huge bidding war between Team Povetkin and Team Wlad and Wilder fighting the bigger payday of the two..

i'd actually rather see wilder-povetkin than wilder-klitschko. povetkin deserves another shot at a strap considering his run of form and the way he was done dirty when he fought wlad before

He is showing some weaknesses at this new level.

He looks weak in his body, like he would wilt under a big body shot.

He gives me the impression that a big shot to the chin would put him down for good.

Povetkin or Klits might KO the Alabama MULE !

I hope not , but the RUSSIANS ARE COMING !!!!!

Not just in the Heavyweights, hahaha look at it , from Lomencheco, GGG, Kovalev, Beterbiev , its ON for shore !!!!!!!!

              CHICKEN CHASERS DELUXE !!!!!
For all ur Russian guys, i got 1 American who can whoop 3 of em. As for Loma, hes a complete fighter..dont see anybody in the near future to beat him.

Cool. Build some more life into that division first.

                All these fights will happen

Instead of "staying active" against other fighters, I have an even better idea! Why not stay active by fighting each other?

Great imagination. Back to reality, what makes you think Klits-wilder EVER happens? When in comes to Wilder, Povetkin is really the best we can hope for when it comes to top level HWs. Wilder-Haymon...Klitschko-HBO...ringin any bells yet?

Of course. Theres some nice matchups at HW. Ppl think its a weak division just bcuz the cameras arent there.

Look at LHW recently when Chad Dawson was Champ, ppl thought it was a weak division until they started putn cameras on those guys. Look at LHW now.

Thats all it takes...get the division exposure
