I was watching the fight on Saturday night with a friend and I mentioned that Ward was fighting next Saturday if he wanted to come over and watch it and he was stunned that the guy that Gatti fought those great fights against was still fighting. When I corrected him and said 'no, it's Andre Ward', he said 'who?' and I burst out laughing.

By the way, he knows who Golovkin is as he asked me when his next fight is going to be.

My casual friends have been able to watch Golovkin fight four times in the past year now. We live in the Bay Area and they don't know Andre Ward because he hasn't been fighting.

Granted I let them know about the Golovkin fights, there's nothing about Ward to tell them about because he isn't fighting and I know they don't want to watch decision fighters because they're casuals.
