I like both Andre Ward and Golovkin. The thing that gets me about Ward's comments though is that any criticism he has of Golovkin applies doubly to himself. With Cotto and Canelo campaigning at 155-160, GGG has a very legitimate reason for staying put, especially when he remains the uncrowned king of the division. Ward could easily go to 175 but doesn't. And his 'excuses' when asked about it are much weaker than Golovkin's.

interesting to know that ward has walked away from the fight in the past, but golovkin also mentions that hbo weren't willing to purchase the fight at that stage and they said it needed a lot of time to build up. so i'm pretty sure that nothing has changed - the fight still won't happen until golovkin has had at least one ppv fight elsewhere
