It sounds like he was insinuating a payoff of some sort. He was saying how could there only be one bid of such a low amount when his promoter has billions? Like how was GBP the only group to offer a bid on a fight of this magnitude? Maybe someone got paid not to bid?

He should have just taken the offer.

$51,000 for a championship fight? N'Dam my man, you need new management ASAP! May I suggest Mr. Haymon?

pretty sure thats the point hes getting at. hes not just questioning golden boy hes wondering how gbp got a billionaire not to bid and gbp knowing they could bid the absolute minimum. I think it absolutely seems scamish. GBP loves to talk about all the other promotions but honestly they are pretty dam shady

Walking away from a fight like this with only $51K is Embarrassing! This is why I'm always on the fighters side. They should always try to make the most they can when they can. You have to be selfish in the sport of boxing because the Promoters, Networks and Fans are. Your the one taking punches to the face not the Promoters, Networks or Fans so make your money to secure the future of your family while you can. Because if you end up like Magomed Abdusalamov, the Fans, Promoters and Network are not going to take care of your family!

Be on the fighter's side as much as you want, but this situation is of his own doing. He was greedy and now he is paying the price for it. I have no pity for him at all. And why is he waiting for the week before the fight to finally take a look at all of these things? What has his management team been doing? Did he never consider to check the terms of his contract before signing the thing?

I would advise N'Dam to pull out of this fight. He's worth alot more than $51,000 and he'll be in Lemieux's back yard with the ref and judges in Lemieux's favor. Even if N'Dam is dropped from the IBF, he could get more money fighting Golovkin or even Eubank.

The circumstances of the now deceased King not putting up a bid are strange, almost as if GB and King reached an agreement similar to the Carl Daniels/Hopkins purse bid situation. There Daniels team won the bid when Don King intentionally came in low. There was no tv deal set at time of the bid. King then made a deal with HBO and was able to take all the tv money for Hopkin's side and Daniels only received the low bid money. King double crossed Daniels teams dishonoring a verbal agreement. N'Dam's promoter may have agreed to no big thinking GB would secure bigger monies and then share per the purse split rules.

What did GBP do wrong? They put in a minimum bid, probably because they expected to be overbid, and they ended up winning. Are they supposed to turn around and say "Oh, we're sorry that your promoter did not think enough of you to bother making a bid and that no one on your team took care of your business. Here, we will pay you a million dollars instead."

                Yeah, like that's gonna happen.

N'Dam needs to ask his side why they were all sleeping during the bid process.

im pretty sure gbp have lost purse bids before.Just seems like
ndams promoter got pissed that ndam refused to take the 300,000
offer. And left him hanging.300,000 seems like a fair offer.

All very well to say "pull out of the fight" but that will cost him a ton of money at this late date. He will still have to pay his team and will probably get sued by the promoter of the fight for costs lost. What he should have done, was suffer an 'injury' in the last days of training. Twist an ankle, break a finger, pull a shoulder muscle, anything minor at all. The insurance would kick in and he gets to take some time off and no one is any wiser. But it's too late for that now. He will have to go through with the fight and hope that the anger over this situation will give him motivation to win the fight.

He may very well suffer a last second injury if the money's not right. GB/Lemieux would then have a lot more to lose if N'Dam gets a stomach virus or sprained ankle.
