Generally a fight like this is Vegas fight. MGM pays a site fee to the promoters and they incur the operational expenses, in addition to splitting the ticket sales with the promoters. I'm not saying RN wouldn't lose money, they might if ppv sales tank. But it would be an investment into their fighter if they really believed in him winning this fight.
