The irony is ridiculous, huh? Ward must be the most unselfconscious guy in boxing to make such a statement. Andre fought as a Lt-Heavyweight as an amateur FFS, yet sticks around at 168, a division he's already conquered, berating guys for not fighting him. Dude, challenge yourself. Move up.

No doubt if 175 didn't have so many iron-punching killers he'd have fought at 175 by now. Instead, he wants to target GGG, who is - let's be real - a relatively small middleweight.

Kovalev would mop the floor with Andre Ward.

OMG.... GGG is gonna fight Froch

and its not called "babbling", its called FACTS.

He has a list of Super Welterweights he fought when they had NO fights at 160 or like 1 or 2 fights at 160. Ishida, Rosado, Ouma, Tapia & Nunez.

Nunez was for the interim title, he had ZERO/0 fights at Middleweight. Tapia was for the vacant WBA title, he had 2 fights at 160. Defended his WBA title vs Ouma, who only had ONE fight at 160. Rosado had zero fights at 160 & Ishida had one fight at 160 weighing in at 157

      FACTS
Your facts suck. Off the top of my head Ouma had two fights at MW, one where he fought Jermain Taylor for the MW title and another where he knocked out a WBA ranked Joey Gilbert just before he fought Golovkin. Tapia had a half dozen fights at MW including a win over Heiland just before Golovkin, and Nunez had atleast a few listed per Boxrec. Check your facts before you call them facts. But that's essentially irrelevant anyways. As I pointed out and your kind typically ignore, that was 5 years ago when Golovkin had no tv money and not even a promoter. He was in arbitration from Universum and forced to take stay busy fights in Panama and Kazakhstan. Your desperate.

He offered to move up in weight to 166lbs to fight Edwin Rodriguez and Thomas Oosthuizen who were both undefeated at the time. You want to shit on those guys and go back to accusing him of picking on JMW's. Go ahead and **** on the fact he would've brought those young guys down 2lbs, but remember your guy just brought his older guy down 3lbs while defending the MW title. Andre Ward fought Rodriguez a few years later and recently tried to fight Oosthuzien, but hey you have your ignorant hate agenda to carry out.

And yeah your babbling while you try and twist facts to serve your agenda. So now you want to down play Froch as a tough test because it goes against your agenda of accusing Golovkin for picking on JMW's.

While Ward is fighting Paul Smith as a tune up, Golovkin has fought boxers on that level with regularity and he's already 33 years old.

Third, understand what market value means. It's the reason Andre Ward has to fight on a BET time buy - losing his promoter money, where Golovkin can fight a guy like Willie Monroe and do better gate and tv numbers than Andre Ward did vs Chad Dawson in his hometown. Peace!

In relevance to the article, Ward's claiming Golovkin's getting preferential treatment in comparison to himself. Ward doesn't even have the market value to support his own bloated contract which is why he's fighting on a time buy on BET losing his promoters money, fighting a guy who's atleast a level below Willie Monroe. You want to debate the difference Paul Smith and the guys Golovkin's been fighting? Let's do it. Golovkin's opponents are ranked guys, generally top 10 for his division who are coming off wins and generally have 1 or 2 big wins in their careers. Paul Smith is the opposite of all that. Never a big win in his career, not ranked, and coming off two straight losses to a shot to shit Abraham.

Your blind if don't see the difference. Golovkin's been fighting the best willing/available while Ward picks and chose to his advantage. You say he's not trying, then what do you call him currently waiting on Froch to go fight at 168 in the UK?

        • Ward talks a lot and fights very little. GGG lets his fists do the talking and fights more often than just about any champion. GGG is a middleweight with no desire to fight above his natural weight. Ward wants him to come up 8 pounds to his weight and Ward wants most of the money too. But Ward won't go up 7 pounds to fight Kovalev. If Ward fights GGG he will just be another addition to GGG's string of KO victims in my opinion.

          • Ward is boring, not a draw, and doesn't make financial sense.

But we'll fight Willie Monroe Jr, doe.

Golovkin fights Willie Monroe and does better attendance and tv ratings than Ward does vs Dawson in his home town.

Nunez didn't campaign at 160. You are correct. Ouma had that fight against taylor. Did Ouma campaign at 160? No. Cuz now you are nitpicking. Nunez didn't campaign at 160. Ishida & Rosado didn't campaign at 160. No shit, I listed Tapia had 2 fights at 160

AAHHH so you are OK with GGG bringing down the SMWs huh? Yea I can talk that shit because I haven't defended Cotto on his catchweight BS, but nice try you exposed yourself. Its ok keep being biased.

What's wrong with Oakland? That's in Cali isn't it? Isn't GGG the "draw"? So why would it matter where the fight happens? If he's the "draw" hell fill arenas ANYWHERE he goes.
Well yeah, it's easy to claim that NOW after Golockin handed his culo to him in pieces...before that fight though a lot of people.were saying Stevens was going to test, expose (and the like) GGG....SO what are you doing in this thread? I didn't know you were a Ward fan? Oh wait, of course not....you're a Cotto fan pretending to be a Ward fan praying that GGG takes the Ward fight soon and not go after Cotto...."uhhhhhhhhh!" (Pause) "uhhhhhhh!"....sorry BJ, but that Cotto reaction to Kellerman asking him about GGG was priceless....

And for the record, I like Cotto....can't wait to see him & Canelo get it on, it won't be a walk in the park for either ....but it sure will be fun while it lasts...

PS ...In all.seriousness, I was just trolling you on the 'pretending to be a Ward fan" comment....

He's the one that needs to move up. 168 is a bummy division and light heavy is heating up.

Lara call's ggg out for several; months nothing but excuses. (Lara doesn't have fans but Monroe is more known than Lara?) So it is fine to fight Monroe but not even acknowledge Lara?

Ward been saying HBO is trying to force feed us ggg and his team didn't say shyt. So Jacobs, Quillen, etc.... ALL get called names like "coward" and "*******" for not fighting ggg even though they fight under (PBC, And Haymon) and they don't call ggg a coward for wanting to fight them and hiding behind HBO. But when Lara calls out ggg he is hiding behind Haymon? So which one is it?

And Ward would destroy, dismantle, shut out ggg easy money. There is a reason he was only trying to fight: Froch, and Chavez jr, at 168. Never even bothered to ask Ward for a catch weight of 164. 4 pounds for each fighter. If Ward says no that's on him. But dude has not even MENTIONED the thought of fighting Ward. But bring up Floyd, he will get real excited (He is with Haymon). Bottom line keep the pressure on them Ward! You and Lara are doing a damn good job.

He is the boogey man! And two bigger versions of Floyd want that action. We clearly see who doesn't though.
How many fkn times are people gonna be ignorant of facts? Lara is with Haymon and will not be allowed to fight on HBO. GGG is with K2/HBO and will not be allowed to fight on another network. I seriously think people are intentionally ******.

So if GGG is the "draw" why is he begging canelo, cotto & floyd for ppv fights?
