Question.... Whos the next 154 lbr GGG will bring up to fight and defend his title?

He already has a pretty good list of former super welterweights who had either no fights at middleweight or maybe 1 or 2 fights at middlweight
Ishida, Rosado, Ouma, Tapia & Nunez all campaigned at super welterweight most of their fights before fighting GGG.
Interesting you brought up all the fights Golovkin took when he had no tv money behind him. As for Rosado, he took Rosado after SMW's Edwin Rodriguez turned down $500k offer and Thomas Oostuizen priced himself out. You're babbling about Golovkin fighting JMW's while he's waiting on a decision from Carl Froch to fight at 168 in the UK. Piss off.

Is that you in that link in your sig?

Also... Did or didn't GGG's team say that the Ward fight doesn't make financial sense?

If Quillen or Jacobs would call out GGG his team would be on it on a flash as beating them would further build up GGG's reputation in the middleweight div. Fighting Mayweather is a no-brainer, its just about money. Ward brings huge upside in reputation but is very high risk and the money is so-so.
So it makes sense for team ggg to make financial decisions based on reward-risk factor. But when other people do it they're ducking and not fighting for pride? So we should hold ggg to the same standard as Cotto, Canelo, Floyd, etc... Cotto gets called a duck. Lara is known and has actually been on PPV and considered one of the top boxers in the world Same with Ward

I dont know what legacy he is talking about.... did he had any in the first place?
it must be the ward that's held the number 2 and 3 pound for pound spot. and the one that beat the crap out of froch and Dawson. it must also be the one that was unlikely to win the super six tournament but beat every single fighter hands down.

who is triple G is that the guy who is active and still fighting bums his best fight was against Murrey a feather fisted fighter. is it the guy who is calling out 154lb fighters like canelo but wont fight 154lb fighter Lara cause fighters like Martin Murrey bring more money lol. Or is it the same 3G that was calling out Ward but knew ward had promotional issues and as soon as ward got done with the promo issues they changed there tone to he dont make money will fight them later. thats the same GGG right
            ????

Andre Ward's team said the same damn thing. Find some new shit to throw.

“I think when the time is right to make those fights (Cotto-Golovkin, Golovkin-Ward), we’ll make those fights,” Itskowitch told BoxingScene.com. “Tom (Loeffler)and I go back a long way. I have called him about Golovkin. We’ve talked about some fights and I think those 2 fights are possible. I just think the time has to be right for both of them. I don’t think now is necessarily the time for them.”

                  • Tells SMW Lucian Bute he's all hype and needs to prove himself. Tells MW Gennady Golovkin he's all hype and he'll fight him 'Any place, any time'.
                  • Tells everyone Chavez Jr is a tough fight, 6 months later tells everyone Carl Froch is taking the easiest option trying to fight Chavez Jr.
                  • Criticizes Golovkin for waiting on smaller men, while he waits on Golovkin.
                  • Criticizes Golovkin for fighting low level opponents, as he gets ready for Paul Smith, a guy who's never won a fight above domestic level.

And his fans aren't much better. They'll criticize Golovkin for saying he'd fight Floyd at 154, yet they conveniently forget Ward saying he'd fight Floyd at 160.

Golovkin is willing to fight Froch and Chavez because they have what Andre doesn't - Market Value. Even James DeGale has more market value than Andre Ward. The man's desperate for respect and crying that it's everyone else's fault when he's the one who put himself in this situation.

                  preach!!!!

The Ward fight doesn't make any financial sense. For it to happen, GGG would probably have to pay most of Ward's inflated purse out of his own pocket and fight for nothing. He would also have to break his HBO contract and fight on BET because HBO would not be interested in the fight.

Let Ward accept to be the B side and take B side money, under a million for the fight, fight outside of Oakland, and I am sure that HBO would say OK, we have a fight. If Ward was serious about fighting GGG, and getting his name right back up there on P4P lists and world rankings, he would take that deal.
