Andre Ward is a very skilled, powerful and intelligent fighter...

... On another hand, Ward is the only top p4p fighter ever to be deduced 2 points in a single round because of excessive holding!

    ... Analyze this!

kind of ironic to criticise a smaller fighter you are trying to fight for picking on smaller fighters. but generally i respect his pov. it's just that the reality of situation is the fight needs to be bankrolled, and at the moment it isn't. however, once golovkin has unified the middleweight division (as far as he is humanly able to) and moves up to super middle properly (i.e. not just for a one-off ppv), then the fight will be unavoidable as long as ward is still in the division

i dont think it has anything to do with it i think he just wants ggg first hell for sure move up after fighting ggg. but ggg ward is the fight not ward kovalav. i like both fights but ggg ward is where its at imo

well if golovkin stops killing himself to make 160 and move up 168 that division would heat up.

Ward brings nothing to the table.
no money. Inactivity . And he has to realise he is the B side. Hbo backs GGG .he is the A side. Fall back ward.

*** off. This fight hasn't even been plausible yet, get your ass in the ring and in actual shape so you can make 168 again. I'm guessing Golovkin will be expected to have his first fight at the full 168 and vs Ward. But if Ward really wants the fight that bad the diva will have to accept a catchweight i'd imagine. Doubt he does, he needs all the advantages, which is why many fights with him will be tough to make since no one is obligated like they were in the super-six tournament.

I am of the belief that when you don't fight for two years and the others guy fought 8 times, bums or not, you really should keep your mouth shut about who and how many times he's fought.

That being said Ward is exactly right.

I doubt Ward will fight Kovalev at the full 175, probabley the Chavez jr weight of 172 he's found himself currently at.

do you realise that's the exact same situation that golovkin is in? he wants to fight cotto/canelo first and then move up face ward
